Preferential Enrolments

  • The school is open to all children who comply with one of the categories for preference.  A preference card, signed by the parish priest, must be received by the school for each child wishing to enrol.  These cards are issued after an interview with the Parish Priest.
  • Once a Preference Card has been obtained, an enrolment contract form can be filled out which parents sign indicating that they consent to their child participated fully in the Religious Education Programme and to pay Attendance dues to the Catholic Integrated Schools Office.  The Preference Card and enrolment forms are then presented at the school.

Non-Preferential Enrolments

  • Up to 5% of children with non-preference status may be on the school roll at any time.
  • Parents are able to place their child's name on a waiting list.  Children will be offered placement as vacancies occur in accordance with the following guidelines:
    • 1) siblings of existing non-preference students
    • 2) students living within the parish boundary.
    • 3) children of staff members.
    • 4) students living outside the schools parish boundary.
    • The dated names are placed on the waiting list will define the priority within each of the avoce criteria.

ENROLMENT PROCEDURES

We encourage parents to pre-enrol their children as early as possible, prefereably by the age of 4, including younger siblings of children already at the school.  Parents of children approaching school age are encouraged to bring them to visit the school prior to the child's birthday so that he/she can become familiar with the environment.  A phone call to the office is required to arrange a time.

ENROLMENT DOCUMENTATION
Please present a copy of your child's birth certificate (compulsory) and Immunisation Certificate which can be obtained from you GP.

The school charges a flat fee of $10 per student for stationery requirements for the year.  Each child is issued their stationery requirements at the beginning of the year.
