125 year school celebration dayÂ
Did you know ? Father Madan, way back in early 1900’s, was constantly writing to Parliament protesting against the seizure of Maori land in this area.? His letters can be found in Hansard documents.  He was the Mill Hill Father who wrote to Sydney for Sisters of St Joseph to staff a school in Matata  - 125 Years ago.  That is what we will be celebrating on  Thursday, 27th October.             Keep the day free!!
